Discounts for Multiple Children:
(applies to K5-12th grades only and are not
applied to the book fees)
The oldest child pays full tuition
2nd child gets a 20% discount off their tuition
3rd child gets a 40% discount off their tuition
4th child gets a 60% discount off their tuition
5th child or more each gets a 80% discount

How to use this chart:
The tuition is the total amount paid by a family based on the grade level and
number of children enrolled. The
oldest child pays the full price- the discount for
multiple children applies to the younger siblings from oldest to youngest.
Tuition is to be paid in 10 or 12 payments on a  monthly basis- payable on the
1st day of each month beginning June 1st and ending on May 1st.
There are discounts for families with more than one child enrolled (see above).
Pre-payment discounts-
4% discount if entire year's tuition paid by May 31st.
These discounts are available for K5-12th grade only.

Example:
A new family enrolling 3 children (K-4, 3rd grade and 7th grade) would pay:
registration fees: $100 +$150 +$150 = $400
tuition: $4300
(oldest child's full tuition)+ $3,440  ($4050-$500 book fee=3550,
20%of 3550=2840. 2840+500=3340)
+ $2875 (no discount for K-4) = $ 10,615.00
($885 per month)

If this family met the early registration deadline
and prepaid tuition...
a savings of $416.

Notes: Discounts for children of church pastors and CCS staff-see
Student
Handbook

Tuition covers books and all other fees with the exception of extracurricular
activities.

Late payment fees apply - see
Student Handbook

A cooperative program for home-schoolers is available- please see below.

Fee schedules are subject to change yearly.

Setting Tuition
As we do not receive tax dollars, every expense, such as facilities, books, supplies and staff, must come
from the families benefiting from them. We keep the tuition as low as possible to afford the greatest
number of families the option to enroll. Our goal is not to have to charge many additional “fees” for
each and every activity so that the tuition already includes usage of textbooks and equipment (which
remain the property of CCS). It also covers lab fees, weekly readers, supplies, enrichment, annual
yearbook, student admittance to home games and standardized academic achievement tests. It does
not cover individual sports equipment, private lessons, field trip costs, tournaments and competition
fees.  Because tuition only provides about 50% of our budget, some fundraising is inevitable. However,
we want our students to devote themselves to learning.

Financial Aid
Our goal is to make CCS and its education available to ALL. Realistically there are families who will be
unable to afford the whole tuition. We want to keep a student mix with all income classes
representative of the community. But we are reliant on
donations from churches and charitable
individuals to establish and maintain our scholarship fund. This money will be used to assist those who
apply. These monies will be allocated prayerfully by the
Board of Directors or the Financial Aid
Committee based on need and availability. A confidential financial needs analysis is done by
a third
party.
No one should fail to apply for admission because of cost without completing a financial aid
application
.

Tuition  Financing
Understanding that your child's education is an investment, several options are available. We have
made arrangements with several local bankers to make tuition loans available to our parents with
payments over 10 months. Also,  private school's tuitions, like CCS, qualify for Coverdale IRA and tax-
deferred educational savings plans. Unused balances can be kept for college expenses. Grandparents
too can open or deposit to these accounts. A prepaid tuition program is being developed.

Referral Discount
CCS will offer a $40 discount incentive to current families for each new student who enrolls with a card
identifying which current family invited them to join CCS. (plus those new students brought in by an
existing CCS family will receive $15 off the registration fee)

Home School Programs
Please refer to the Home School programs page to see the fee schedule for the Home School
Cooperative Program. Only when multiple children are enrolled in CCS does the multi-child discount
apply for regular tuition.  We can not discount regular tuition by factoring in a Home-School sibling for
a multi-child discount. For a student applicant that has been denied regular admission into CCS,
Application/Registration Fees are not refunded but should the family decide to enroll into our Home-
School Co-op program, we will waive the enrollment fee.
Book fees for a Co-op student will vary per subject.

Pastor's Tuition Discount
Cullman Christian School offers a tuition discount to church pastors (full-time and bi-vocational) and
to other full-time Christian workers, ministers, missionaries. We recognize there are many ministers
in the body of Christ and the Board reserves the right to evaluate the applicability of the pastoral
discount to each candidate. The Pastor's Tuition Discount guidelines are:  Tuition rates for pastors
include a 25% discount. The full book usage and activity fee plus the registration fee per student is
required upon registration. Pastors and CCS employees are not eligible for additional prepayment
discounts
.
